Cleanup

Tear down all ECS resources we created (service patientping-svc, cluster patientping-ecs, ALB patientping-alb, target group patientping-tg, roles, security groups, log group) so you don't incur ongoing charges.

1. Delete the ECS service:
   • Open ECS → Clusters → patientping-ecs → Services.
   • Select patientping-svc and click Delete.
   • If prompted, scale desired tasks to 0 first, wait for tasks to stop, then delete.
2. Delete the load balancer:
   • Open EC2 → Load Balancers.
   • Select patientping-alb and click Delete load balancer.
   • Wait until the load balancer is fully deleted.
3. Delete the target group:
   • Open EC2 → Target Groups.
   • Select patientping-tg and click Delete.
4. Delete the ECS cluster:
   • Open ECS → Clusters.
   • Select patientping-ecs and click Delete cluster.
5. Deregister task definition revisions:
   • Open ECS → Task definitions.
   • Open patientping-ecs and deregister all active revisions.
6. Delete security groups:
   • Open EC2 → Security Groups.
   • Delete patientping-internal.
   • Delete patientping-external.
7. Delete IAM roles and policies:
   • Open IAM → Roles and delete patientping-ecs-execution-role and patientping-ecs-task-role.
   • Open IAM → Policies and delete patientping-ecs-execution-policy and patientping-ecs-task-policy.
8. Delete the ECR repository:
   • Open ECR → Private registry → Repositories.
   • Delete patientping-ecs (choose force delete images when prompted).
9. Delete the CloudWatch log group:
   • Open CloudWatch → Log Management → Log groups.
   • Delete /ecs/patientping-ecs.

Run and submit the tests.
