Data Refresh

Once your data is connected and transformed, you'll eventually need to refresh it to make sure your reports show the most up-to-date information.

Power BI makes it easy to update data automatically or manually, depending on your setup.

Building the dashboard is fun, but keeping it updated with the latest data is what keeps it useful.

When you click the Refresh button on the Home ribbon, Power BI will:

Manual refresh is perfect while you're developing or testing your report.

Assignment

Open the Table view for your website_sessions dataset. Click on the session_id column and sort it in ascending order.
Open website_sessions.csv in your text editor of choice (I'm using Zed, but any will work).
Edit the browser_os field in the first data row (SESSION_0001) from its current value to Firefox|Linux, then save the file.
Click Refresh in your Home tab to see the changes reflected in the data.

Save the project and, from the course directory, submit the CLI tests.
