OpenCode watches the filesystem for relevant changes, and those events let it reload watched skills and plugins while it's still running.
File-watching cannot merge conflicting edits. OpenCode's edit tools use the current file contents and may fail when the text they expected has changed. Review the diff whenever you and an agent edit the same file.
The watcher.ignore option in opencode.jsonc suppresses filesystem events for matching files and folders. This can reduce noise from frequently rebuilt artifacts; it doesn't stop the agent from searching or reading them:
{
"watcher": {
"ignore": ["node_modules/**", "dist/**", ".git/**"],
},
}
I don't recommend messing with this option in most of your projects unless you're specifically running into watcher-related issues.
Tell OpenCode to add logs/** to watcher.ignore in opencode.jsonc so that changes to playground logs don't trigger watcher events.
Then tell OpenCode to run and submit the CLI tests from the project root.
