Learn to Code in Python

This website is very user friendly and the pace is truly "at your own". I sometimes got the itch to learn and then other days just passed by and I didn't think about coding. I didn't get pushy emails asking to complete the course or reminders that I was in the middle of a lesson. The program saves your progress automatically too so you can pick up where you left off.

Learn to Code in Python

Excellent run through and introduction to python, doesn't hand hold and allows the user to learn at their own pace. Help is available if required and back tracking is easy enough. The AI ability to create challenges for you is very handy, and an excellent way to improve your skills and understanding.

I completed this course within two days, and it covers a lot of the fundamentals! Was very good for revision right before an interview.

the assignment is too complex most of the time. its like the lessons taught 1+1 =2 but the assignment want you to do 2*2

Learn to Code in Python

I'd say it's done better than most schooling platforms I've been on. The AI tutor is a helpful ally(especially for one who sometimes finds 'emself completely missing the point for reasons I have yet to know), and thus far, I've enjoyed the experience! For me, this was my first course taken, so completing it and not have been tortured beyond comprehension is a sweet bonus!

Software developers in the US earn over $100,000 per year

The following data is taken from the results of the 2025 Stack Overflow survey

Cloud Engineer

$189,000

Backend Developer

$175,000

Site Reliability Engineer

$165,000

DevOps Engineer

$165,000

Data Engineer

$150,000

Frontend Developer

$145,000

Data Analyst

$100,956

Some folks look at the job data and assume that front-end positions are the only option for new learners. On the contrary, there is big demand for backend and data-oriented positions!

If you like working with data, logic, and servers, you might just enjoy the back-end, data-focused curriculum here on Boot.dev. And similar to the frontend, most data and backend positions don't require a specific degree from a university... but you do need to know your stuff!
