First Personal Project

Pick an idea, scope it down, build it yourself, and get community feedback on the result.

What will you learn?

You can't truly become a developer if you can't build your own stuff. Theory and foundations are important, but you also need to be able to fly solo. The purpose of this project is two-fold: a chance to put your skills into practice and to add another project to your portfolio. Well-built personal projects will help you land interviews and jobs, so make sure to put in the effort!

It's really cool to do your own project! The git pushes help you keep your streak and you really get to figure out what you want to do. This is all self discipline and motivation though! You can really lose your momentum after a while and get stuck.

Fun! Loved building something on my own. Super cool they give us that opportunity here and loosely walk us through the steps.

This project taught me that I should make my stuff so I can improve my skill of making stuff by myself.
